Loving

I am feeling a little overwhelmed these days, aware of all the people in my life who need to be loved. Their need is palpable. I give what I can.

  1. We all need to be loved. I hope you are getting love back.

  2. Many hugs. Take care of yourself so you can recharge and then pass the new electricity on to others.

  3. It comes in waves with me.
Yesterday morning on the phone to my daughter I was all dramatic about the loss of lives in London and how it made me feel and all she could say was, mum, people have been starving in Sudan for months and nobody gives a fuck.

    What's in your picture?

    1. It's an old broken tree still producing seed pods that are bursting open. :)

  4. That's an uncomfortable feeling. Good for you to know what your limit is. Happy Friday Colette♥

  5. I know what you mean. And sometimes you are able to give it and they won't even take it.
But I hope you are feeling some love yourself. Take good care, Colette.

    Love from me.

  6. I remember a therapist telling me once many many years ago, "when the cup is full to the brim, it only takes one drop to overflow."

  7. The Gift of your Love is absolutely Priceless... but I agree with Robin's assessment that one drop too much can cause an overflow, so be sure to indulge in some Self Love as well... Dawn... The Bohemian

  8. Hope you're having a less stressful day today. I keep reading that love is the answer. Everybody needs to love and be loved. And kindness...Nobody seems to be listening as demonstrated in the most recent disaster in London. But I'm working on it in my own little way...
Don't forget to leave a little love and kindness for yourself.
