Pulse of Orlando

Today is the one year anniversary of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting.  Since I live nearby, there is a lot in the media to memorialize all the people who were killed or hurt in that terrible event.  This is my favorite memorial, a photo of Angel Colon, who was shot but survived that day.  I love it when people refuse to hate.

  1. It was one of too many horrible and senseless attacks on innocent people. I'm not sure I would be so forgiving.

  4. What a Beautiful Spirit this Young Man has! Forgiving is never easy and it is indeed a Gift to ourselves when we can move in that direction so as not to fester with Hate. Dawn... The Bohemian

    1. Thanks Dawn. Festering hate is a good description of what a lack of forgiveness can become.

  6. Lovely pic. Lovely sentiment. I have much admiration for his values and strength. I'm not sure
I could be that forgiving and I hope I never have to find out.

  8. I find it difficult to forgive people, myself most of all. Thinking I need to work on that.

    1. Forgiveness is often misunderstood. I'm thinking it might be the ultimate "f you" because you move on, leaving the sin with the sinner.
