  2. The best one I have seen is a little boy holding a sign that says, "I'm not even allowed to take peanut butter to school." Another told us that there are more restrictions on the way school children dress than there are on owning a gun. This has been a powerful day. I hope they keep the pressure going until something positive is done.

    1. Oh, I love that (can't even take PB to school).

  3. It was a rally like no other rally ever. The Retired Man and I attended a local one. It was so inspiring and so sad to listen to kids whose lives are about fear instead of the joy of youth. However, they have made a difference and will continue to do so for decades to come.

    1. Yes, they amaze me. Glad to hear that you went to your local event, too. It was fun, wasn't it?

    1. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I know so many like-minded people who were unable to attend a march. It is happening. As one of the marching chants yesterday proclaimed "This is what democracy looks like."

  5. We didn't get out to our local rally, but saw in this morning's newspaper that more than 1000 people showed up in the pouring rain and heavy winds here. Our hearts are lifted by this global protest. ENOUGH!

  6. A cheering degree of wit and articulacy in the signs. Suggesting a crowd that could be formidable in ways other than just marching.
