We've been here 16 ...I don't mind the heat. We've been here 16 years - longest anywhere. What I miss is having a full table. The work is worth it then. This year it's just us two and gasp! All I'm cooking are pies. Because you gotta have pies. For dinner tomorrow we're eating at a restaurant. That almost gives me guilt pangs! We go to a relative who's home is on top of a mountain, heated with wood, usually snow covered and very Walton like. What I am struggling with is this is the first year my daughter is going to split holidays. She will be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas eve but going to her boyfriend's for Christmas day. What? All those Christmas morning traditions will have to be adjusted and I do not adjust well : )<br /><br />Oh well, there is nothing more consistent than change.
