All things must pass

I had company last week, and had a wonderful time.  For some reason I'm left with nothing to say.  This will pass.

  1. Then let's drink coffee in silence and watch the sun. Hugs!

  2. Silence is golden! Especially when accompanied by a raccoon. :)

  3. That’s all good. I am assuming your company was the two footed kind? The four footed is pretty ok too. Happy Saturday Colette!

    1. Same to you, Linda. Yes, two footed kind. People I love very much.

  5. But, when you feel like talking again, it will be just as interesting and enjoyable as ever.

  6. You must have said it all to your company. That's a good thing. The raccoon looks a little scared.

    1. It was scared. It was hoping I wouldn't notice him/her.

  7. Been there, done that (as recently as April 4):

Ever found yourself in a literary desert, lacking things to say? Why not write about the desert?

I'd hardly sifted a handful of sand when my attention was seized...

But never mind. There are better quotes and you're entitled:

Sleep that knits up the raveled sleeve of care,
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
    Chief nourisher in life's feast...

  8. Ah sure, life has these moments.

"Now Rocky Raccoon, he fell back in his room
    Only to find Gideon's Bible
Gideon checked out, and he left it, no doubt
To help with good Rocky's revival."

  9. I'm hiding upstairs at the beach house while Roger's family reunion is rolling on downstairs as I type this. Quiet is good. I try to find it whenever I can.
