When we were looking to retire we looked into FL. Red Tide, which got a member of my family so sick they had to leave their job and the state, Desantis and other buffoons and we decided we couldn't do it. God Love You. I hope you are high and dry and safe!!
~sigh~ We had hoped against hope. Not this time. Someday, women will rise at this attack on our bodies and freedom. Someday, we will join arms again and make a real difference.
But weren't we lucky where you and I are? All we got was a windy day yesterday and rain spilling down steadily all day today. You'd hardly think we were in the same state as Miami and Daytona Beach.

ReplyDeleteWe are fine, being in the middle of the state helps in most storm situations. Florida is a very strange state.
DeleteI think that sums it up. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOnly too well.

ReplyDeleteI hope that's true.
DeleteAll I can do is wish you well.
ReplyDeleteThat's enough! Many thanks.
DeleteI actually read it was a good election for Dems, except in Florida.
ReplyDeleteYes, nationally the Dems did much better than could be expected.

ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteI'm glad the Democrats did better than expected.
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
DeleteI have read that Florida is gerrymandered to produce those results. I don't know how you change that. I am lucky to live in a Blue state.
ReplyDeleteAll true.
DeleteI'm sorry for Florida and for the wider implications. ::sigh:: is right.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
