Sigh

Another ridiculously heartbreaking Florida election cycle, and then a late season hurricane two days later.  Need I say more?

  1. When we were looking to retire we looked into FL. Red Tide, which got a member of my family so sick they had to leave their job and the state, Desantis and other buffoons and we decided we couldn't do it. God Love You. I hope you are high and dry and safe!!

    1. We are fine, being in the middle of the state helps in most storm situations. Florida is a very strange state.

  3. ~sigh~ We had hoped against hope. Not this time. Someday, women will rise at this attack on our bodies and freedom. Someday, we will join arms again and make a real difference.

  4. I actually read it was a good election for Dems, except in Florida.

  5. But weren't we lucky where you and I are? All we got was a windy day yesterday and rain spilling down steadily all day today. You'd hardly think we were in the same state as Miami and Daytona Beach.

  7. I have read that Florida is gerrymandered to produce those results. I don't know how you change that. I am lucky to live in a Blue state.
