Happy new year, Colette. Always enjoy these photo walks, especially when it is cold and dark and damp here with a heavy cloud cover. It's been a long long time since I've seen a vulture on the ground or in the sky. I'm told they have been seen here in Whatcom County, but I've never seen one. There is no mistaking them for any other bird!
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. Your photos are so beautiful. I love them. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us.

DeleteTurkey vultures and babies. We have those in NE Ohio, too.

DeleteAh, Florida! Makes me homesick! :)
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long until you visit again!
DeleteThat looks like a good long walk. The two birds are keeping a close eye on their surroundings - and any suspicious humans.
ReplyDeleteThose birds were wondering what the heck I was up to.
